You can distrust the media and government without accepting that everything is a vast conspiracy.

There was ZERO doubt there were flashes from somewhere around the 4th floor. I'm not saying that is was gunfire, but I haven't seen another logical explanation either.
They have explained the flashes.
Moreover, bullets can't shoot through windows without breaking them. The "fourth floor" windows clearly were all intact.

I haven't seen any kind of muzzle flash from the 32nd floor. Nobody else has either.

People believe in conspiracies for two reasons:
1. We like to believe the world is more interesting and explainable than it maybe is
2. Conspiracies do happen.
We have had undeniable proof of several vast conspiracies come to light just in the last few years like the NSA spying on all of us through our computers, phones and tv’s; staged protests, primary rigging, giving certain candidates debate questions ahead of time, most media companies recieving their talking points directly from the DNC, MK Ultra, the Tuskeegee Experiment, etc.
Those are all confirmed. If those are true, what truly isn’t plausible?

no broken windows on 4th floor, so where's the bullets going?

Strobe light disco ball orgy. It's fricking vegas. It's much more likely that people were having a party in a Vegas hotel room. Cmon

I'm not really a conspiracy theorist, but wikileaks proved a lot of them right.

What kind of strobe looks like a rifle going off like that? Never seen one of those.

The difference is: you don't open your mind to see if they're right. Many aren't, some are completely correct but it's too hard to hear and people put their heads in the sand.

I'm not big on conspiracies, but something about this is way off. The guy is a 64 year old millionaire retiree that got treated pretty well as a big money gambler. No prior incidents, and this dude painstakingly plans a mass shooting like this out of the blue? They recovered some 20-30 guns from his fricking hotel room. I mean, it's not like this guy just walked in and started shooting up the place, he planned this out thoroughly. It just doesn't make sense.

The most common current whacky conspiracy theory is that there are millions of racists running around the USA.
Considering the number of people in the US, that seems reasonable. 3 million racists in a country of 324 million seems like a reasonable number. It's estimated there are 3.2 million schizophrenics in the US.

Schizophrenia affects 1 % of world population. That's roughly 3.2 million people in the United States. Many people with psychotic disorders are paranoid.

The rush and anxiety of mass hysteria can lead people to hearing and seeing things that didn't happen. A large portion of the crowd are claiming to have heard two separate guns. This has been the spark for the multiple gunman theory.
Simple answer: There's this little thing called an "ECHO" which happens from time to time in open air areas with large things around them to bounce sound off of.
