No. Slice is generally a path issue. This aid is to instil and feel a descending hands ahead blow to the ball.

It will help some. It forces you to hit down and through the ball more than anything else. The hand action will definitely help some of your slice issues, but it won't change if you are swinging outside-in. It did help me get rid of the just bad slice though.

It helped me with getting the club a little more square at impact, but as you said, the major issue of the swing path it won't help.

You approve of the Tour Striker?

Did your ball flight change?

I'm gonna order it I think.

All I'm working on from now on is Pro like impact.

It is THE key.

Really is.

This is almost all of us at impact...

You flip at impact, no matter how good your path or swing is you don't have shite.

Instead of spending money of these gadgets , spend the money on lessons from a PGA cert. Pro! It will change your game!

Not always for the better, I've seen many PGA certified pros who don't know jack shite about a golf swing. All the certification means is that you can pass a written test!

Very much and I regret selling the original to get the Pro. The pro is way too severe, and made me try to cheat it to get good flight.

Some. I would say it lowered mid and short irons some.

I still have issues, but they are not due to my hands anymore. I have very little lower body turn, so getting the fats.

I cannot find the drill right now, but there's a guy on youtube showing some forward ball placement drill. When I say forward, I mean ridiculously forward. To make good contact you absolutely have to rotate through. No cheating that one.

I had a Pro do this with me when I was in my teens. Used driver and would set the ball up a good foot at least in front of my front foot. I was having trouble with picking my head up and not finishing through.

OK, what about a PGA Master Pro. College roommate and very old friend just got cert. as a master Pro. But you're right, I seem "Pros" at the range that didn't know chit.

I need something to help me out. I get so damn frustrated on the course b/c I don't contact the ball consistently enough. Biggest being not hitting through the ball and my divots starting behind it. im playing more and getting better, but frick me if I can't get this shite down.

I shoot usually low 90s (92-94), with the occasional 87-89 if I putt well. I didn't start playing till later in life and played with people who had no clue and I learned some bad habits. I played baseball in college and I thought it would be an easy transition.... that's what I got for thinking

Anyway... that true striker thing may be a way to go? I wouldn't mind doing the golftec deal, but I don't have the time for that right now.

the true striker would definitely help with this. I don't swing through with my irons very well either. I will check up and push the face out some. It helped me a lot.

I don't take divots. I hit it clean every time. And I'll bet most of y'all frickers anytime. Net can tell me which few if y'all I can't beat.

So many things go into a proper ball strike.

It's not as simple as saying pinch the ball.

I think the number one issue, that doesn't get discussed enough, is the spine angle throughout the swing.

Most amateurs have early extension with the downswing. Instead of keeping their tush on the original plane they "hump the goat" Basically as they start the downswing their body gets up right and the hips thrust towards the ball. This makes it almost impossible to have consistent contact through the strike zone.

My point being is if your shoulders/arms are rotating properly around your spine then the club can freely move and strike the ball with consistency.
