What's the best rewards based credit card out there?

Asking for a friend who travels a lot for work now, flying Southwest and staying with Marriott, so those two are in the running. Just trying to figure out which is better. She already has 2 cards that don't offer rewards but have high limits so they're not going anywhere.
ETA: Every Chase card she has had has been compromised, staying away from those.

Huge thread on the money board. I think Sapphire is usually the top recommendation. They just went over to the chip so it may help security for a while.

People don't understand how cards are 99% of the time compromised. The compromise has to do where the person shops not where the card is from. LINK
That link shows how fast your credit card can be compromised. It's why you use credit cards and not debit cards.
