4 - 10's is great. 3 - 16's is a bitch, 1 on 1 off. I'd kill a bitch before I did that again.

Waiting tables while attending college. GI bill paid for school I made enough cash to pay bills and worked with plenty of young ladies that wanted to have fun.

Good times

5 16s in August sucked. Especially considering everyone else was making a lot more money than me.

Bird surveys in Nevada. 10 days camping in the backcountry then 4 days off in Vegas or Reno.

Worked delivery for a couple of years before finishing college. Great people to work with, I was young and had so much energy. Hard to believe I could put in a hard day in the middle of the summer, go waterskiing after for a couple of hours til dark, get up the next day and do it again. Now I don't even feel like getting out of my easy chair to look for the tv remote.

My highest paying job is the one I have now, but my favorite job was working for a cabinet shop. All paid holidays off, and my shift was 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday. Loved the 4 day work week.

Most fun job was when I was a cocktail waitress at the Belle. It was fun in that I worked with a bunch of really cool people and we all would go out drinking after work. I was 21-22 at the time and just had fun while working there. Easy job and made decent money (for a server job while in college that is).

I still keep in touch with people I worked with at that job.

I have a great job now and I enjoy it. My favorite job though, I worked part time after school and on weekends at the Brookstown Texaco.

Back in the 80s that area was populated with old people and I loved dealing with them. They would being in their absolutely mint old cars and I'd check the oil and fill them up.

I really loved that job.

During college, worked afternoons in the office supply warehouse of the main office of a bank in Baton Rouge. They'd send in their orders for envelopes, ink pens, and what not, and you'd go around twice a day and pass the stuff out. I worked for an old Italian dude the first week, then he went in the hospital for a routine procedure and never came out. For a couple of months, I had the place to myself. I'd fill the orders, then snooze in the back the rest of the time. They brought in another guy to supervise me, and I quit

I worked in a restaurant from senior year of high school all thru college. It was such a fun job, great pay for part time work and you're around tons of girls to hook up with. Great times.

Just hope I can find a job. Market seems to be saturating with a new school taking 100 new students every year. Becoming like law

Deckhanding on a charter boat. At the end of the day, the tourists didn't want half of the fish that they caught and by rule, usually overbought on beer, which they abandoned after leaving the boat sunburned and hung-over. Made for some good times and good cookouts at the harbor after the day's trip.

Division Manager for a small ship adventure cruise line called Cruise West. Worked with amazing people, hard to believe I got paid to have that much fun. Had a waterfront office, best view in town.

That sounds awesome. A buddy of mine has his son on a boat making some cash, but I am not sure exactly what he does.

All I know is that his kid loves everything he does but it is grueling and xtremely hard work.
