I was in the same situation. My mother was in hospice at my home. She really wanted to watch her soap operas. Who was I to deny that? Asked AT&T to come asap, they said two weeks. I tell them the situation and they laugh at it, because they think I am lieing just to get them there sooner. I talk to everyone in command, no one could help. I hook up a long line from the closest bedroom to her room and get her a new 60 inch HD tv. She died 10 days later. They showed up the next week and it was all I could do not to beat the crap out of the guy.

USPS
1. left a watch on the front porch of a townhouse complex.
2. had a set of irons shipped to my place. were supposed to show up between 10a-12p (i took a long lunch for this) and left a note saying they missed me at around 1p. i go to the post office and my drivers license doesn't match my current address since I just got transferred for work. they said they would have to send the package back. argued with them and was finally able to take them with me.
3. left a snowboard on the front porch of my house. a fricking snowboard.
Whenever I buy things online, I ask the seller if I can pay extra to have it shipped with UPS, fedex, etc.

Good friend on a job. Then stopped answering the phone. When finally confronted Shane Wells the owner was a count
I tried to help out my friend but they closed thier office and work out of thier truck to dodge people

That was badass seriously. Love seeing when people refuse to be bullied by big corporations

Delta airlines destroyed my bag containing all of my scuba equipment. They broke several smaller items. I placed a claim at the airport....no reply. I called the number....no reply. I sent emails....no reply. Called the airport again....no reply. Sent certified letter....no reply.
With the bag replacement, the gear I had to replace, and the rental gear I had to use, I was out about $700. Too much to let go. So I sued Delta is small claims court. I figured they would get the message that this was a small claim and that finally I would speak to someone reasonable.
Those sumbiches removed me to Federal Court and tried to " make a Federal Case" out of it. Well, now I was pissed.....I spent days becoming subject matter expert on the laws they were citing as authority for removal and every single case that came down on the issue. My Motion to Remand was the type of thing you get Pulitzer prize for writing.
I am sure the silk-stocking defense firm they hired in Nola charged around $500 per hour. I flooded their office with so much discovery and so many motions, that I felt the need to donate to Green Peace's Deforestation Cause.
I was remanded back to State Court and Delta was sanctioned for improper removal. They continued to huff and puff in State Court and after the first status conference ...when the judge saw what this was all about, he practically threw Delta out of chambers and dared them to go to trial.
Delta called me and offered me $ 5K. I mean....WTF??? I estimate they spent $10K + on defense counsel, got hit with $ 2K in sanctions, and out of the blue offered me $ 5K.
$ 17,0000 on what should have been an apology and a quick check for $ 700.00.
Now you know why I no longer fly DELTA.

Had a meltdown in New Orleans Audi 3 years ago when we leased our Q7. Was trading in an almost paid for QX56. I owed like 7k and we agreed on the trade at 37k. We did a minimum down lease. They owed me a check for almost $30k. The salesman told me to come get the check after about a week. The "technologist" lady was supposed to come to our house twice that week to go over the car with us and set up the homelink etc. She was supposed to bring the check when she came. She blew us off twice so we told the salesman we were coming to get the check, we drove all the way over there. When we got there the manager told us no check because they had not received the title from Infiniti Finance, even though the salesman said we could. I asked where the car was and they had sold it! They can float the title to sell it but not pay me for it yet. It got pretty heated in there (all glass offices) my wife was furious. We left with the check.

Robinson Brothers Ford.
Three major screw ups that would take too long to explain. Not only did I promise myself to never buy from them again, I was so pissed that I swore off ever buying a Ford again.

AT&T is the absolute worst company in America and it's not even close!!!!
I could write a book about that company's crappy service and sky high rates (especially for the elderly). I go into probably 1000 or so different homes a year and have seen $250 / mo. bills for only Phone Service and Internet (which is about dial up speed way out in the country, no joke)!
They are also notorious for hitting credit reports even after equipment is returned.

TL;DR I got run around by Cox for 3 weeks and 15 hours of phone time for something they lost and said I stole.
I had the same thing happen. They told me I had not returned a box, but was never given a receipt when I returned it. They tried to send it to collections, and NUMEROUS phone calls with low IQ assholes did not help. It was not fixed until I put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. frick Cox.

5 pages and no mention of Ebay/Paypal.
I sold an iPhone back in the day after I upgraded to whatever. Sold it for like $300. Guy pays via PayPal, I send to the verified address and that's that.
About three weeks later, I get an email from eBay that a case was open. The iPhone didn't; work. It most definitely did, and the buyer kept saying it wouldn't turn on/hold a charge, etc. I accepted the refund and the SOB sent back the iPhone box empty. Had a tracking number and my signature so eBay/Paypal just verified that he sent it back.
I looked that Fricker up and called his HVAC business in a small town in Washington and old him what I thought of him. Made me feel better but I still lost $300.

USF-Dugan
$2000 item of furniture purchased on December 22 and shipped from Kansas on the 23rd. Estimated delivery date in 3-5 days. Driver finally shows up and leaves the item in the middle of the gravel road in front of my house on January 12th in the rain. 9 hour drive by car---3 weeks by USF-Dugan. The most creative rant of profanity I've ever performed. No joy.
