Other than parking passes, hanging anything from rearview is trashy.
As for all the people saying sunglasses, your cars don't have sunglass holders built in? What are y'all driving? 20 yr old Civics?
Or if you do have sunglass holders and you're just hanging your Costas or Ray Bans etc to show everyone who cares, hey look at me, I can afford sunglasses, that's still trashy. True ballers don't have to show off. That's strictly for posers.

I drive a 2008 chevy 1500, no sunglass holder. Its an easy place to put them when not, where they wont get damaged, and makes it easy to quickly grab them and go.
