I have absolutely zero problem with consenting adults dating, marrying, banging whoever they choose. However, it's hard to take any group seriously when they are parading around in ridiculous costumes (including but not limited to arse-less chaps). Maybe it's just bad marketing, but it comes across that "pride" in the gay community = promiscuity and lewdness

I don't care what this bozo's sexual orientation is, I'm not taking anything he says/does seriously.

Pretty sure that the first rule of the internet is that if you dress up like Dorothy and blow a man in assless chaps in the middle of the street, the internet is going to make fun of you.

We hold Pride each summer to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of 1969. At the time, most states had laws banning LGBT people from assembling in groups. Despite being illegal, the mob opened LGBT bars to profit off of the open discrimination of our community. The bars were the only safe space for LGBT people and were frequently raided by police officers looking for bribes. Tired of harassment and discrimination, the patrons of The Stonewall protested and began a series of actions that turned into several days of riots. At its peak, more than 1,000 people took to the streets of Greenwich Village in one of the first organized displays of LGBT protest. The mostly transgender patrons of color at The Stonewall are credited with starting the LGBT civil rights movement.

Getting rogered up the bum by a man dressed in a rainbow dog suit while dressed as a flamboyant Indian is expressing yourself?

If youre in a public place, you dont get to determine whos a 'guest,' and whether they can or cannot take photos, i support gay rights, but thats just stupid.

Don't post photos of them.

You better believe they would be the first one to take a pic of a redneck at walmart and run to social media.

Well then don't make the event a spectacle. If you're that concerned about non-gay people looking at you or taking pictures, then hold the event indoors
