Since I came to SU, I have made Excellent grades IN THE SAME FIELD OF STUDY. So is it really that I can't do something or is it that I struggled due to factors of my environment.

Or is it because you are at a shitty university?

have to be diverse...I bet back in the day when they weren't forced to be diverse they turned their nose at an SU engineering degree.

Are you actually going to get to sit for the FE?

The ABET accreditation doesn't apply to graduate school for Southern either. It's only for the undergrad.

Are you doing a thesis based graduate degree? Do you have an exam to graduate if not? If neither, IDK.

Still could have gotten into Ole Miss more than likely. Why didn't you apply there?

Maybe.

But then he would've failed out like half their students. I went there and they let everyone in, yes, but its just for a tuition money grab.

Once there, its not as easy as the admission standards suggest

Also, there is a freshmen attendance policy and freshman year at Ole Miss is a blur of 7 day a week drunkenness and debauchery with smoking hot women everywhere. Its a bad mix if you're trying to start off college with a strong GPA.

I lost a lot of friends the first two years

But, seriously, I don't know if I want dumb people being scientists or engineers. Maybe I'm being too critical.

But my question to you is: what would you have done if you had less than a 3.0 in Physics.

What is the question? If I had less than a 3.0 in Physics (whatever that means) I would be a very successful and happy person.

I have no plans to sit for the FE. Since I have no plans on getting a PE, I don't see the point. This also explains why I'm not pursuing a full BS in EE at the moment.

The majority of MS Engineering programs in the US are not accredited by ABET. Even Tech and LSU don't have ABET MS programs. Look it up on ABET website if you don't trust me.

Mostly only BS degrees are ever accredited.

I am more likely going the project route for Graduate school.

Struggling with a tough professor or academic situation does not make you dumb. And for the record even the Science program at Tech are leagues harder than the liberal arts even at a school like LSU. (I have a classmate who went their for undergrad)

You can't compare the rigor of a stem vs liberal arts degree.

They don't have to hire from Southern to be diverse.

Many people are educated beyond their intelligence.
You obviously passed yours up in high school.
