What weapon would you take with you to fight a bear?

Let's say for some reason you have to fight a bear coliseum style. Just you and the bear and whatever weapon you want to bring. No guns allowed. To make it simple assume it's a brown bear. What do you bring with you?

A flamethrower could be just as dangerous as the bear. It could catch you or the arena on fire.
