Little bit of nostalgia.

My brother swears up and down about being in Downs Lounge when he was 14. Moby Dicks ended up being their go to watering hole.

For me it was friar tucks when they were on freret. Would love to walk back in there now.

TJ Quills @ 16

at the time 90's, drinking age was only 18 in Louisiana, even lower in NOLA

Cilly’s in Tigerland. It later became The Tiger and then The Stadium Club, etc. If you got there before 9 there was no bouncer checking ID’s and you could just waltz on in. I remember those bumper stickers....”Drunk at Cilly’s”...Yeah, those were the days!

This is among the many things I’m not proud of in my past.

I heard that. Big bro was born in 77 so he was right on the cut off when they changed the law.

Like someone said below, before 9 they had no doorman at tucks so you just walked right in.

I can still remember BG hanging out by the pool table in the back.

The Wild Bar on Bourbon. It was a Chalmette hang out for awhile when I was in high school. Also went to TJ’s, AT2s, etc
