This is a LouisianaLady inspired thread, but what is the most ridiculous rule you had to follow in high school?

They banned people from wearing blue or red. There use to be 4 areas in town that had a gang, the two smaller areas were "allies" and it all came down to drug territory. The name of the gangs was named after the area they were from but the two bigger gangs.. one wore blue the other red. Sometimes when things happened on the street, they would bring it to school and if someone wearing red went out of their way to go through an area where the other gang was.. It usually ended up in an all out brawl.. so that's all I got.

They wouldn't allow the female teachers to bang us.

Really sucked and I am still mad about it.

Well that doesn't seem all that dumb, then.

Yep, no hoodies here from 2007-11. Although I think if you did, the hood had to be tucked in.

Zero tolerance fighting policy
If you stood up to a bully or fought back in any way when attacked, you got suspended too, same as if you instigated the scuffle.

No emblems on a collared shirt wider than an inch and a half in diameter.

No ankle socks.

If they pushed your hair down on your forehead and it reached your eyebrows, it was too long. Conversely, I remember one guy shaved his head bald for the state championship in swimming and was suspended.

It was always comforting to know that private schools had even dumber rules.

Steve Madden shoes were banned at my school. All other shoes were acceptable. Never understood that.
