This topic comes up a lot here and my recommendation is always American Eagle. You may not want to wear a single item of clothing in that store, but their jeans are one of the last beacons of normal looking and good fitting jeans.

I wear GAP straight leg. Varying shades of blue. Nice fit without skinniness
Same. GAP straight leg dark blue.
ETA: I hate the weird variation in color that most jeans have around the front upper part of them, like a fading they put on the pants. The GAP dark jeans are one of the only pairs of jeans that I've found without that crap.

Anything that doesn't look like a Mardi Gras float is attached to the back pockets.
I like Lucky, BKE and Sevens.

501's.
This, but WTF are there so many different "styles"/colors of the same jeans and why can't you get same style from one year to next?
As an example, I bought a pair years ago (loved 'em), finally wore a hole out in the crotch and tried to find the same pair (by serial number) on their website and they don't exist anymore. Same goes for another pair. Finally, just decided to start buying 2-3 pairs of the same style number once I find a pair I like.
That and the denim material always seems to be different b/n the various style numbers of 501s.

AG/Travis Mathew or Joe's is what I'd go with.

Must be the same in Mexico or South America, cause I think that's where the tag says they're made.

Not skinny jeans, but the jeans that tighten up towards the ankles.
