Didn't The Shed close down?

I hadn't heard that. I know the ocean springs location was open last august...and the website shows locations in both gulfport and ocean springs...

Gotcha. Wasn't there a Vancleave location? That may be the one I was thinking of.

Vancleave does that to things

I think that it was the Mobile location, though

Going to be here til Sunday. What bars, beaches, nightlife are a must? Should I just go farther East on the Coast for the weekend?

Come down to BSL and do TBT and Trapaini's. Maybe even come back and do Sycamore House for pizza or some if heir fine dining. Night life is sketchy on the coast, but there are few bars worth hitting.

I'd hit thai lotus at least a couple of times during the week. Viet wonton soup or pho.

Oh yea, Bay St Louis. I could give you a full run down of everything here, but I don't venture down to Gulfport that often. We do enjoy Thai Lotus on 49 though.

Trapanis makes mean trout dishes.

No longer there. Not sure where the pink pool tables are though.

I was born and still live (when not at school) in Ocean Springs. Every time I go Tigerland, it reminds me how great the downtown OS bars are.

The shed in "Vancleave" burned a while back, but is back up and running....I personally don't like it, though. If you want bbq--seek out Tay's or Dickey's. As Corksoaker said--downtown OS for nightlife. Gulfport sucks--it has--no, it just sucks. 32 at the IP is awesome. If they have blackened cobia--you're welcome. Palace is a smoke free casino if you feel the need to gamble and not smell like an ashtray.

Please don't quote me. You're a nerd and I'd rather not be associated with you and your queer posts.

Now get back to the stands before I shave off half your mustache and shove it up your left nostril.

I'll quote you when I want to quote you and you will like it, woman. You're a Bad News Bears fan, I see--"Don't jump in, Enleberg, you'll flood the valley." Or how about, "I'm hitting .841--I play for the Bears. I got a Harley Davidson--does that turn you on? Harley Davidson?"

One block off the beach on 49 there are about ten bars and restaurants in a one-block radius. All good, all fun.

ETA: and all a short cab ride to and from the Seabee base.
