Not at LSU, but when I was in law school an older lady commuted from Wiggins, MS to Jackson, MS all three years. That's over a 2 hour drive, one way. She did that five days a week 1st year.

Yeah I'm sure. He actually only did it for like two and a half months. His wife couldn't get in touch with him for like 2 days so she had the cops check on him and he had had a heart attack and died

It was really sad. He was a big ol guy. I wasn't shocked to hear he wasn't in great health.

I know someone who drove from Morganza, LA to Hammond for 4 or 5 years and then to Baton Rouge for two more. They have a 10 year old Impala with about 550,000 miles on the odometer.

That's the longest I've heard for college.

I commuted from Westheimer/Beltway 8 in Houston to Port Arthur LNG tanks for a few months, 5 days a week. I had to fill up with gas every day. I can sympathize with people who have long drives like that. I'll never do that again.

I knew a guy who commuted from Baker. Not very far, right? But he had to take the bus .He caught one at 445 am and would reach campus at 645 am. Then he'd get to take that ride home.

Knew about a couple ladies that drive from winnsboro, la to Mississippi College Law School every day for 3 years.

That is probably a 90 minute drive one way....and the longest I have heard.

it takes me a hour and a half to get to LSU on Tuesdays on Thursdays. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays the traffic isn't as bad and I usually get there in a little over an hour. my house is 47 miles from campus

Why wouldn't he just go to UL?

I would never go to class.

I commuted over an hour to college every single day after working 9 hours. And I was enrolled full-time.

That's insane. What's wrong with Tulane, Loyola, UNO or LSU.
