Every time I get in an elevator with other people, they are staring down at phone. Never fails. People don't know how to acknowledge or act around each other anymore. They automatically put their head down in phone.

Sorority girls like to compete when it’s a friends birthday by posting a robust collage of pics to show they are the true “bestie.” It’s quite humorous. They love to post as many “seasons” of life they have been friends with said girl. “From high school, to college, to weddings to babies.”

I've noticed this more and more (although that's no grand insight) and I've also noticed how reluctant right/family/Christian-leaning people are to say anything negative about individualism or consumerism, because we're used to those attacks coming from a certain place.
