these same people, if women, make lots of comments about how much wine they drink. God that is annoying

People are just simply lost. Like not oh I don’t know where I’m going lost. Just no sense of anything outside of their phone and three foot circle.

Learn how to work with the worst person at your job. That person, or worse is at every job.

Most people have neglected oral hygiene/halitosis during COVID and that will be hell to pay once we all stop wearing masks.

They usually don't burn out since leds have a crazy service life. What happens is a connector coming loose.

1. When you boil it down, there are maybe 11 different people in the world just cloned billions and billions of times

2. You never see people in military uniforms in airports anymore. Good thing, certainly, but used to be extremely common in the 2000s

I wouldn't call it small but college and post graduate degrees are no guarantee of having common sense. I'm talking Doctors, lawyers --you name it. I'm often astonished by the shite seemingly well educated people do and say.

I blame the english teachers for this. InconVENience does not sound out correctly. It should be spelled inconVEENient. Whoever made the rule on how to spell this worked fricked up.

We live in a world of normalized dysfunction, and use coping mechanisms to curb our emotions. We use drugs, alcohol, food, TV, phone, media, sex, pornography, gambling, shopping, and the most widely excepted form of coping, workaholism or busyness. We don’t know how to be OK with doing nothing, not planning or thinking, just sitting, and we can’t tolerate it for one second. We have normalized and prioritized avoiding our emotions. Feeling bored, sad, mad, happy? Eat this, do this, achieve this, watch this, buy this, drink this. And when we don’t have extrinsic manipulators we go inward and ruminate on the past or future, or even contemplate. Every time we choose a behavior to manipulate our emotions it is reinforced, and more dastardly robs us of the opportunity of developing low stress coping mechanisms. It may be the root of all our epidemics, obesity, opioid, media consumption, consumerism. Dysfunctional behaviors can certainly develop from trauma, but minuscule stressors as well. Cross addiction has been demonstrated after bariatric surgery, and if we solve one epidemic we may be spurring the other. Our attentions are so easily hijacked. We don’t define our values, and certainly have no hierarchy for them, so most of our desires are memetic, and advertised to us. Chasing others desires creates dysfunction. Memetic desire, and missed opportunity to develop coping mechanisms may be responsible for a significant portion of mental health issues.

1. New parents who give their kid crappy names were spoiled rotten growing up in the 90’s/2000’s. They thought they were special then and think they still are now.

2. Parents wonder why their kids are little shits but constantly have them on a phone or iPad.

3. People who use the term “paycheck” are usually very broke.
