If you buy a DE, but the Merkur 34C. It will last a lifetime, and nobody on the planet doesn't love theirs.

Will do. I'm fascinated by the DE razors now. What would you suggest to Paige for her son? I don't know enough about them to give her much else, other than what I've read.

So you seriously waxed your teenage sons facial hair?....AND that was the first time hair has been removed from his face?

If I ever have a son I'll probably start him on one of those shitty cartridge deals.....but as soon as he gets the hang of it I'll introduce him to the DE straight razor. I figure that will probably be the best gift I ever give him since life.

Proper prep and supplies.

15 year olds are idiots. Handing him DE blades he will inevitably try cut other things around the house.

Mach 3 to start.

What? By the age of 15 my boy will probably have multiple shotguns and at least one rifle and probably more pocket knives than he can keep up with.

I'm fairly certain I can keep him from destroying my house or himself with a DE blade.....besides like I said I'll start him on cartridges probably for a year or more.

If you got Paige's son a DE razor he'd scar his face up in two shaves.

DE takes practice and patience. 15 yr olds have neither.

My son is going to be 17 this Friday. Gillette Fussion razor works the best for him! The cheap disposable razors aren't smooth and easy to cut skin
