Not for health, but bug spray with plenty of DEET will clean the yellow film on old headlights better than any off the shelf product.

Wet a dryer sheet and it will cleans love bugs quickly off paint. I always do this in the shade and clean it off right after though

Put a small amount of dish washing liquid into a large cup. Fill cup up with any temperature water. Stir.
Take this bubbly mixture and throw directly at wasp nests. Dead on contact.

I keep this in a spray bottle. Works on many flying insects.

For hemorrhoids put a table spoon or more of vapo-rub into a big pot of hot water and stir. Sit on pot for about 10-15 minutes. Make sure the water level is low so your balls don't get boiled. within a couple of days the hemorrhoids will be gone.

From my dad's extensive testing, yes.
I think it's because French's has a higher salt content, though Lea & Perrin's tastes much better
