Also you don't want to say you are paying for sex. Just pay for their time to stay with you, then once their time is up, ask for consensual sex. There are ways to get around it if you play it right. Cop stings usually don't want to sit around with a client and usually require specific words and money to change hands first.
Usually the stings are in a set location with no alternatives, like a hotel room. Tell your friend to be smart and he can pay for all the puss he wants.

Cops only have to identify themselves when serving a warrant, entering a property, or making an arrest.
But I am no cop, so I am unsure about all the circumstances.
I know that undercover cops DO NOT have to admit to being a cop, when asked by the target of the investigation.
