What percent of Americans are pure trash?

In your opinion, what the appropriate percent where the country would be in MUCH better shape without said people.
I find a lot of redeeming qualities in everyone, so air your percentage to a more conservative than liberal one.

"Pure" trash, Id say around 15-20%. More than 70% have varying levels of trashiness though.

I should clarify that I don't mean trashy people. I can see a blue-collar, trashy truck driver at Wal-Mart. I may not want to have a beer with him, but he is performing a service.

I mean vile, disgusting, p.o.s that need to be taken out back and shot in the head. People that have zero use to society and only bring drains onto society. The morally corrupt, the career felon, the child rapist, the man who steals from St. Jude, etc.
