Good or bad, what one thing has had the greatest impact on your life?

I'm going to say when my father put his D in my mom's V and worked it to completion.

And then after that, when I quit doing something major for my father and started living for myself, without which...

... I wouldn't have had the birth of my children.

My Mom dying of cancer when I was 6. I always wonder how different I would be if she had lived.

My 22 year old son's death.

Isabelle that has got to be probably the worst death for a person to deal with. Parents should never have to deal with losing a child because it is not the natural order of things. It is something you likely never get over and simply have to find a way to accept it and to create a new normal in life.

My heart goes out to you.

Being arrested for something I didn't do, seeing how messed up the criminal justice system is, especially for the poor and indigent. (Totally exonerated from the arrest.)

Now I'm in law school and I hope I can dedicate my career to working in a public defenders office. (I have plans to supplement income so I can do this.)

I don't think he's denying the existence of Jesus, just that he's a Savior

Husband lost a wife as well and I speak well of her. Admittedly our marriage is a bit odd as I consider his 2 ex-wives to be great friends and allies of mine.

I have helped him repair his issues with them and insist that he help them when needed ( after all they are the mothers of his kids and my stepkids) who I love dearly. They raised great kids!! (I call the ex wives my "wife-in-laws). He is now on great terms with his exes.

Our common bond of all the exes and us is friendly so our kids/grandkids can holiday gatherings where we all together are as opposed to making them have to create a schedule where they have to see each parent in different times and places. Our common goal is we all love those kids and grandkids.

TL;DR - I love my husband exes and he is fine with my ex and my late fiance. It makes life so much easier. The past is just what we went thru to get to where we are together and nothing to be bitter about.

I am so thrilled to hear this and proud of you for all you are doing to make the most of it. I think you are actually a beautiful girl with a great personality. I would love you to be able to get on a path to true happiness in life where you can attain the goal in life that you want the most.

Keep up the great work!!

I am easy to get along with and just don't believe in drama and grudges.

I don't want to be with a man who is bitter about his exes (but psycho exes are the exception, I would not deal with them).

I get along with everyone. I don't have a single inlaw, ex or anyone like that who hates me. Life is so much better that way.
