Costas are nice but no nicer than most other high end brands, and more expensive. Its just that for many people Costas are their first high end pair. I have some Natives currently that I really like. Its hard to find Costas that fit non-watermelon sized domes as well.

Wearing Costa Brines w/580 lenses now, but have a pair of MJ Shorelines. They're different lenses & shapes obviously and the MJs were more $$$, but I prefer my Costas.

Prescription lenses in a frame I picked out at Walmart. I'm not sure "sporting" is the correct word, but they do the job.

Berkeley from Walmart. About $4 a pair and look decent, so I buy about 3 pair every spring for the year. Every nice pair of sunglasses I have bought get lost. Of course I haven't lost a pair of cheapies ever, but they do get scratched.

Maui Jim Makaha. Bought them last summer, and as soon as I got in the car with them, my Bolle's broke (screw fell out of the arm). I still have my Bolle's but I never wear them. I'm sold on the MJ's

Ray-ban Aviator Polarized for my day to day shades.

Have some Maui Jim Stingrays for outdoors stuff

And some black folding Ray-ban Wayfarers for whenever.

The lenses in the aviators don't have shite on the Maui Jims

Kaenon

I've had Maui's, Costas and Ray Bans, but I'll probably stick to Mauis and Kaenons in the future.
