What kind of shoes do you wear to take the dog out in the morning?

I find this is the only acceptable use for crocs. House shoes and flip flops are out because it's usually wet. And I'm too lazy to tie anything.

Well I wake up and shower and get dressed first thing. Wouldn't dream of walking outside looking disheveled.

I have a fenced in yard.

I open the door and they do it by themselves.

If I'm taking a dog out in the morning I usually do it barefoot from the kitchen window with a .223.

Tennis shoes with the laces tucked in instead of tied.

Depends on the weather, but usually slip on house shoes with rubber bottom.

If its raining or snowing:

If its just frigid:

None, I just walk to the back door and let him out into the backyard then come back 30 mins later.

I am normally very concerned about my appearance when I l leave the house. But when it comes to taking the dog out, I seem to have no problem with just boxers. Makes it easier to take a leak while I'm out there I guess. And I live in a subdivision. Mostly wooded, but still a subdivision.

Boots. I wear boots every day in cold weather, and I make Lucy wait for me to get dressed for work before bringing her out.

I will slip those same boots on with jammies if she needs to go at night too, though.
