Yeah, my badass level is pretty low. I've grown up in shitty neighborhoods, and moved in and out of them. Just never felt the need to buy a gun. I can't help it if I'm lucky

You guys need to watch Bill Burr's new special on Netflix.

He makes a powerful argument for the humble .22.

It's supposed to be marginally bigger - I'm probably going to be finding out in the next year, though.

well, my female havenese goes ape shite when the ice machine drops ice - so, once she sounds the alarm - my lazy arse rocky (Thor) jumps up and scratches the wood floors running and barking all the way to kitchen - then pulls up by his food dish. In the actual weapon part - I have a shotgun (double barreled) that has been modified (very illegal) and don't give a shite if its against the law if I ever have to use it.

I get it, but I choose not to worry about it. The odds are on my side and I choose to gamble and go without a defense gun. I keep my rifles unloaded and locked up. I decided one day I didn't want a gun for protection because I feel it alters your view of the world to an us vs. them mentality and I feel that's not a productive way to live life. I don't knock people for having hand guns next to their bed, but I choose not to.

That's the attitude I have.

I have plenty guns. They're all unloaded and locked up.

12 gauge is easily my go to home defense gun. I keep a XD 9mm in my night stand though.

LCP is my daily carry right now.
