Self entitlement....

This generation feels they are OWED something and feel they should not have to invest in the time and work it takes to obtain it.

How people think that their personal opinions should in any way determine how others should lead their lives. Oh you're offended? Big fricking deal. Take gay marriage: you don't like gay marriage- DWI You don't like that people don't like you because you are gay and want to get married? DWI

The man who knows nothing doesn't harm society......the man who knows nothing, yet believes and acts as if he is knowledgable is a detriment to society

apathy

which would seem to go against the group think critique of the OP, but actually go hand in hand with it

nobody cares about anything anymore until they are told they should care, and then they only care for a few days

nobody seems to really be passionate about crafts or causes anymore...everyone just wants to float on by

that is why when I meet someone with passion for something, even if I disagree with it if its a cause or a belief, I respect that person

It can be frustrating, but I actually think it's beneficial in that we no longer have to waste time determining if they're stupid or not. The sooner they reveal their stupidity, the sooner we can know to ignore them.

I'd argue that we don't have enough apathy. It would be nice to hear that someone doesn't give a shite about something every now and then.

Tangent: I've been saying for a few years now that everyone in America should be allowed to care about two things, any two things you choose but no more than two. If something comes up that's not one of your two things then you don't get to say shite about it. Example, your two things could be NASA funding and anti abortion, if some senator says something racist then your response would be "racism isn't one of my two, I don't give a shite".

That's my utopia America.

but just posting retarded memes or saying stupid shite on FB isn't really caring

they don't really care, they just want to be part of the outrage, part of the group think
