Where the Red Fern Grows is GOAT

The Jungle Book (and go see the new movie, it's incredible)

My Side of the Mountain

The Light in the Forest

The Littles

I could go on and on, I love to read.

"The fisherman and his wife"
I gathered the family (kids and wife) then told the kids "this books describes your mother." Then read all of them the short story. They were rolling on the floor laughing but the wife was not amused.

ETA:

I read my kids Goodnight Moon everynight, but they also enjoy Brown Bear, Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site, Ill Love you forever, Pat the Bunny, etc...

my kids have tons of books so we usually read two or three a night, the first one or two vary but we always close it out with Goodnight Moon
