The Janet Jackson pregnant at 50 thread got me thinking about this. You always hear the odds of health complications with the child go up as the mother goes up in age. What is the oldest you would feel comfortable with your wife/SO getting pregnant? Is there a hard cutoff? I would think the late 30s (say 37-38) would be about the end of the line, but with modern medicine maybe later is more acceptable to go later today.

Since I've had the V, it would be a problem no matter how old she was.

SIL had three kids from age 32-35
I know someone who had a child in her early forties.
Kids were normal in all cases.

Any age as long as the mom and baby are healthy.
Chromosomal disorders occur with advanced maternal age for mothers, but my wife and I are both in agreement that we most likely would terminate in those cases.

Or you could end up with this sign at your house-

Why are you acting like that's an anomaly?
There are more women having kids in their 30s ands 40s than ever before.

I've had a vasectomy so any age at this point would make me uncomfortable

40. Not sure I want one that late, but I think we'd be fine. Not sure if this is a factor, but there is zero people in either of our families with developmental issues.

My mom had my youngest sibling at age 45, with no negative complications.
For my wife, though, I'd probably say mid-30s is my cutoff.
