What is the most obvious thing that escaped you, causing a duh moment?

My uncle who had a deep voice and long hair who looked like a hippie was actually a cross dresser and slowly came out and got a sex change. I was the last one in the family to notice he was wearing women's jeans and stocking hose under them at a family get together.

Looking back, a beautiful woman in my second year of college wanted the D. I just thought she wanted to be friends.

This was in HS but there was a student, whose mom was doing several dudes and when it came out what happened (had to do with her allowing her kid to have "some friends" over every weekend.. When I say some friends, I mean a large group of people) it was one of those "oh shite, that makes sense".
