The numbers represent how many mines are in adjacent squares. For instance, a 1 with only one viable option left indicates that a mine is definitely in that uncovered square. You can the see what other numbers are touching the known mine and go from there.

Made it to the state finals in fourth grade competing in the National Geographic Geography Bee.

3rd place in Texas in 2001 when I was a 7th grader after winning my school and district bee

Had I gotten 2nd I would have gotten to go to D.C. for the national bee as an alternate but missed a damn question about the Northwest Passage

Louisiana/Mississippi regional champion in Pinewood Derby.

My car lost its first race because it flew off the track. It never lost another race after more than a hundred runs.

I used to absolutely annihilate other kids at wall ball. If you think you were good at wall ball, picture someone beating you so bad that you cried and I could beat that person

I was awesome in dodgeball during the high school years. Was almost always one of the last two remaining.

I pinned the high school wrestling coach in high school, even though he was around 250 pounds and I was a mere 140 at the time. But I never joined the team because I enjoyed time at home to play video games.

<----- was awesome at Space Invaders

In college, I was always the first or second person picked for our weekly tackle football game. I was practically a white Barry Sanders...relative to the competition.

In college, people I never met approached me at bars to challenge me to a belching contest. I always won. Though this might seem like it may not be impressive for the ladies, I soon started dating a very attractive lady who witnessed this belching legend in action. We've now been married for almost 24 years.

When my son was 5, we would frequently eat cereal before I would drive him to school.

We would compete on whose cereal had the most nutrients by reading the side RDA panel on the box.

Dad, how much riboflavin does your's have? How much niacin? What about magnesium.

I would always win because I got so much enjoyment in hearing him try to pronounce the words.
