25% of my very closest friends have divorced parents.

Out of my closest 10 friends 7 of them have parents who are divorced. Interesting that this number is apparently high.

Depends on if you are asking about friends whose parents are split or friends whose parents have ever been a party to a divorce.
Around 10% of my friends parents are no longer together, and at least twice that if you include situations where my friends parents are together but at least one of them was previously divorced (also one friend whose parents got divorced but then got remarried to each other).

I don't have many friends with divorced parents, and my parents got divorced at a very young age.
Statistics don't lie though. I think a lot of people rush things without taking care of #1 first and that is the reason for a high divorce rate in general.

I'm not sure but it's way too high.

Actually, only a few have changed.

I'd say about a third of my closest friends have divorced parents.
And about half my friends ARE divorced.
And about half my friends ARE divorced.

About 10 years ago it seemed that I was one of the few people I knew who had divorced parents, but now things have drastically changed.
I'd say about 80% of my good friends have parents who are divorced.
