I'm amazed that some people are allowed to have children

C) Leaving your children with that kid's parents.

Snake is getting close enough so it can consume the child

Don't think snakes or reptiles yawn. It could have been stretching, or it is possibly overheated.
And yeah, I think that is probably fairly dangerous. Probably mostly fine as long as the snake has been fed, but I think it's kind of pushing it with a specimen that large and a child that small.

Mine do. And they know when they are being fed, so their yawns are not mistaken for stretching their mouth while waiting for a meal. They just yawn while lounging around on their perches.

False. Correct answer is having a parent that would do either.

99% of the time, that child is not in danger. But if that snake did suddenly decide to put the squeeze on - and gets serious about it - it's going to take more than one person to pull it off. That bitch is solid muscle. Imagine arm wrestling someone with arms that size, then think about the length of your biceps vs. the length of that snake for relative muscle power.
While I'm a huge snake defender and have several snakes (not that size), I wouldn't put my children in that position. It's akin to rednecks who take picture of their toddlers with a beer in their hand. A guy I know kept sticking his 8 ft. boa in his wife's face telling her to kiss it, and it bit her in the face. She was not amused. While snakes are cool pets, you have to give due respect to their capabilities.

Parents would probably tell you, "They're great pals. They grew up together."

It's not the snake, it's the owners. If you use proper obedience training on the baby snake, then it will grow up to be a nice teddy bear family pet. - signed, Pit Bull Trash
