Oh I know. I wasn't really being serious. Just meant we would have a much smaller black population if it wasn't for cotton. And the clashes of culture wouldn't be a blip on the radar compared to what they are now.

As a result, you get what you see today. The "we stick together" attitude and the outrage when a white kills a black.

that's kinda what I'm asking. if the community cares enough about him to protest and riot his death, where were they before he died? where were they when he needed employment? where were the people telling him to seek employment and provide for society and himself?
