If you have to ask this, chances are you are older than the target demo for IG.
Tired of all your friends constant baby pics or complaining about pregnancy? Tired of political rambling for/against trump? IG is for you.
I don't care what 95% of my facebook friends think about politics. I can only unfriend and unfollow so many people. IG is just pictures either from your interesting friends or interesting people you wish were your friends. Either way, it's far more enjoyable than Facebook.
