Jalopnik is too slanted politically and Autoblog is completely covered with ads. Anyone with a good recommendation?

Go to the auto magazine ones: Road and Track or Car and Driver. I can still stomach Jalopnik since most of the lefty stuff is a link to their sister sites.

Bob is the Oil Guy Forum

This is a good one, not just for oil.

The Truth About Cars used to be good, but that hasn't been the case in awhile.

Doug DeMuro (@DougDeMuro on Twitter and dougdemuro.com on the web) is really good. He used to be affiliated with Jalopnik but he's not douchey.

Articles contain shots at President Trump
Only left leaning people allowed to comment on articles
Etc.

Also in Jalopnik's case, they have a writer whose only job is apparently to attack uber. Gets tiresome.

I wonder if the person who decided to re-do the format/layout of Autoblog has been canned yet?

Can't imagine there numbers have done anything besides tank since the switch. Used to go there daily, I'll click on the site every now and then out of habit and quickly leave once I'm reminded it's gone to absolute shite.

Like how can you frick something up that badly? How?
