I don't know how to put this but most of you here are not exactly high integrity people. What kind of sick bastards tell someone to chug bleach or just kill yourself? I am really interested to hear what you think integrity means and who has the most of everyone you know?

Please don't tell me it's Paige!

To me integrity means loyal but still truthful to core mo matter who it hurts.

My dad has the most integrity than anyone I ever known -hard to meet the expectations he has set

So you're posting here looking for the true meaning of integrity? Cool... got it.

Well, it's being honest and having a solid moral compass. Basically it's the quality of your character, to be true to your principles and make ethical decions. Not flaming a message board.

A Drill Instructor told us that it was doing the right things, even when no one was looking at you. It's not a bad start to extrapolate.

And I guess Jesus?

Your Mom is obviously the leader in the clubhouse for not aborting or infanticiding you.

/thread

She's not wise or smart to have allowed you to continue but she had maternal integrity.

It's acting like you have your Grandmother, the Police, and God are all looking at you at all times(cept the bedroom, and the internet)

Integrity is doing the right thing when no one else is watching.

Are becoming rarer and rarer...

In business, it seems lying is an accepted thing. If caught in obvious lie, people just shrug, as if to say, "that's the way I roll".

Having dealt with subs and pool builders when building my house, I found about 50% of them to to be straight-up dishonest. For this reason alone, I would never tell anyone to build their own house.

In the IT world, dishonesty is not quite as bad, around 25%, but it's there. This is why a lot of IT companies come and go and why the good ones thrive and get multiple contracts from the same customers.

Integrity means doing what you say you're going to do, when you say you're going to do it. It also means being honest in billings and being truthful with customers.

It is a high bar for some to reach.

It's also doing the right thing, even if against the wishes and expectations of everyone watching.

This part is much more difficult.

Integrity to means me roughly the same the as honesty. And honesty to me means I'm a good person and I have a clear conscience when I tell you this...

Go chug bleach and kill yourself.
