Wow I don't know what everyone else has said but that is fricking terrible

It's just a customization. No different than personalized cufflinks or something similar. I have one shirt with it so it's not like I'm defending something I commonly wear, I just find the extreme positions on such a small accent a bit forced.

I guess I should have figured that being in Laffy and all.

Practically every shirt I own is monogrammed in some fashion. Cuff, pocket or bottom. That's just how it's done.

Mind if I ask how much extra that costs you per garment?

Would be a smash in a gay bar.

I was there during their "Dallas" days, and saw every conceivable twist on nouveau riche, OFT ridiculousness there was. The monograms remind me of that.

There is usually no extra charge if you are buying custom made shirts.

First - wear what YOU like and want to wear. Don't worry so much about trying to impress others.
Second - since you asked, I'd change the belt buckle. Definitely change the shoes. Ditch the pocket square. Tone down the shade on the jacket a bit (though maybe it just looks too stiff - needs a more "it's been worn" look). I don't wear monogrammed shirts but I don't have a problem with them. You usually don't see them much with casual wear though.

This is me. I am visiting hot job sites and shite all day. They stay cooler than other shirts.

Eh, dont trash him on the monogrammed shirts. I travel a lot and get mine made in Hong Kong when i am there. got 6 custom shirts for 175 US a month ago. Perfectly matched to my size and in fabrics I picked. Monogramming was free. Where this gets fun is that I wear a fairly large watch on my left wrist. Was able to get the left cuff slightly larger to accommodate.
I work in an office environment though. if I worked outside or in an industrial environment, i would dress appropriately.
