What "congestant" do you recommend?

Terrible allergies = constantly running nose. But every single product seems to be designed to "relieve congestion". What I want is total congestion so the nose doesn't run. Does this exist as a product?

You need an antihistamine instead of a decongestant.
I take Zertec once a day during allergy seasons, but when my allergies are really bothering me I have started using Mucinex Allergy.

Are you really asking if there's a product on teh market to help relieve a runny nose?

You are being too literal. The nasal cavities don't work like that. Total congestion does not mean your sinuses are packed with solid or semisolid stuff. They are filled with liquid, which leaks out of the holes on the bottom of your nose.

Remove from ears, cram in nose.

I've never had one that works. I want something that turns runny nose into bone dry nose. even if that means total congestion and having to breathe through the mouth.

What is it when you can't breathe through your nose then?

Sudafed. The real stuff from behind the counter. The kind with pseudoephedrine.@

There's swollen leaky sinus balloons up in there.

Total congestion would mean your sinuses are so blocked with mucus or the tissues are so inflamed that they cannot drain. Sound like you want something that slows down mucus production. You need to treat the cause of the runny nose with an antihistamine or allergy spray like flonase or a pill like zrytec. I use both an antihistamine and flonase. Drink lots of water or your breath will smell like arse due to dry mouth.

I wish. All of those products seem to make my nose even runnier. I want something that puts that shite on lockdown. Nothing in, nothing out. It sucks, but it's better than using 10 boxes of Kleenex.

Not to mention your head would feel like a bowling ball.
