I was about to post something like, "no one's mentioned J. Edgar Hoover yet, but..."

Anyway, I don't buy the Hoover stories. The claims are implausible. It basically all ties back to one woman who claimed that she'd go to high-class Manhattan parties and Hoover would be sitting there holding court in a beautiful evening gown.

Now, if you'd told me that they'd found a trunk full of lingerie in Hoover's house after he died, or that he'd been busted hurriedly removing make-up by a surprise visitor, that might be believable. And I would think, "Hoover was probably a secret cross-dresser."

However, the notion that he just sort of mingled at somewhat pubic social events in a dress, and no one other than this one (possibly batshit crazy) Manhattan socialite ever mentioned it, just doesn't ring true for me.

Morgan Fairchild. She always played the role of a bitch. In real life she was the nicest person. Met her a few times. Just met Brie Larsen. Everyone paints her as a bad personality, but she was super nice and friendly. I mean the fact that she was laughing at my cornball jokes means she can't be all bad!

Yep. Respect the heck out of that guy for the way he lives his life.

Maintaining some normalcy while wealthy and famous is a superpowr.

Didn’t he and the rapper get crossways over Amish paradise?

Coolio claimed that although he first rejected Weird Al's request to spoof the song, he later understood that he could not halt the production owing to fair use copyright regulations.

Later, Coolio gave Weird Al's suggestion some thought. He told the IPR students, "I sat down, and I really thought it out," he told the students at IPR. "I was like, 'Wait a minute.' I was like, 'Coolio, who the f**k do you think you are? He did Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson didn't get mad.'"

Coolio said his ego stood in the way. "I was being too magnificent and too terrific about myself and that's not what you want to do," he said.

Weird Al parodied Coolio in "Amish Paradise" by giving his hair cornrows that pointed upward and filming in an Amish neighborhood. On the Billboard Hot 100 list, the parody from his Bad Hair Day album peaked at position 53.

Later, Coolio and Weird Al made up. He said, "I've since apologized to him. Again, that was so stupid. ... That was a stupid thing for me to do. That was one of the dumbest things I did in my career."

That was Coolio, and he was mad at Weird Al initially.

Coolio had sampled other music for Gangsta’s Paradise, so Coolio didn’t have exclusive rights. Weird Al reached out to the record company, and they gave permission. Coolio was never informed.

Weird Al reached out to Coolio to smooth things over. Eventually, Coolio also apologized to Weird Al for how he had handled the situation. Telling him he should have been honored that one of his songs was parodied.

There is a bit more evidence for that.

agree, the most photo evidence I’ve seen are pics of him and his boyfriend at social events in smartly tailored matching outfits, and of course, fabulous shoes

For being such a glamorous movie star and fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn was more of a tshirt and jeans girl who preferred being a stay-at-home mom. She basically stopped acting when she had kids.

Her youngest son has said her Oscar was kept wedged behind some books in his playroom.

Dolly is very gracious. We met her about 15 years ago when my boys were 3-4. They got to hug her and yes they hugged the bosom area.

Alice Cooper's dad was a pastor and evangelical. He grew up as a Christian but strayed away. When he was a kid he went on mission trips with his father. Now he is all in for Jesus.

AC always says, "I don't do Christian rock, but I'm a Christian that does rock" He refers to himself as the "Prodigal Son"

Others have given the Coolio story. But the one big star that Weird Al could never get permission from was Prince. I bet those would have been some great parodies as Weird Al was on a roll in the mid 80's when Prince was huge.

Keith Richards - despite the obvious tropes, he has supposedly been dry since like 1981

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley - supposedly actually true that they were essentially teetolaters when it came to substances. Their addiction was women lol

Bob Dylan - I think he claims that every song he's done since like 1972 was as a born again Christian in the service of Jesus Christ
