12 yr old boy: 3D printer ($300), soccer ball, mini lego Lamborghini, soccer cards, nice soccer cleats I found on sale (paid $20 originally $95)

8 yr old boy: meta 2 VR headset ($350), soccer jersey, Minecraft lego set, soccer cards

4 yr old girl: Barbie dream house ($95), lol dolls, unicorn thing

This is considerably more than we would normally spend, but I’m taking a new job that pays a good bit more and splurging a little. It’s been a financially tight couple of years and they have felt the crunch, so we are relaxing that.

No idea what to get our 16 year old son this year but he does powerlifting and just got a new car for his birthday. What are you getting for his car? Never thought of getting him his own PL belt since he uses the ones at school and his pm workouts with my husband aren’t as intense.

basic tool set and a HALO battery jumper.

I'm sure I'll find an old chain, gloves, etc to put in his toolbox.

Our kids don’t need anything. That’s our issue. And when we ask them what they want, there’s not much they say.

My oldest is graduating this spring. So we’re combining Christmas and her graduation gift and got her VIP tickets to a music festival in Atlanta in May

12 year old some earrings and some other things she said she wanted which wasn’t much.

10 year old a gamer chair with speakers in it and Madden and a few other small things.

Christmas isn’t huge around here. My wife killed that vibe. She hates it. Every year we buy the same shite for people who don’t need or want anything. Kids get things throughout the year.

Eventually when they’re older we may try the vacation during Christmas thing if that works out. Gifts and shite they don’t need is just getting old. It was fun when they were tiny babies but all of them figured out Santa and it’s just open gifts and go back to bed.
