if i'm eating well, i hit a plate of veg and then some protein...maybe some beans/cold rice. then maybe a small dessert (like 80-150 cals)

i typically eat around 11am

by about 3-4pm i'm usually craving a snack to hold me over. if not, i'll eat dinner at 5-6pm and then get hungry before bed

apples are the best filling snack i've found

i'm trying to warm up to nuts (mainly almonds)

i have oatmeal that likely would work (typically this is a breakfast option only in the rotation)

sometimes i just drink coffee to suppress the appetite but this can backfire

what are some other good options?

Cottage cheese.

Hardboiled eggs, 2 or 3

Celery, carrots

My personal favorite: take a potato, cut it up into thin circular slices (chips). Sprinkle sea salt, pepper, and onion powder. Drizzle EVOO or olive oil. Bake at 350 to 375 for about 25 minutes. Yum

I always use an apple for afternoon snack. Drink a 16 oz. bottle of water too, and it will fill you up 'til you get home for dinner.

Not all carbs are created equal, Daniel-son.

Besides, you DO need carbs for energy and muscle growth.

adderall keeps you focused and you'll have to FORCE yourself to eat. I can't stress Adderall strongly enough - it's life changing. Shame that most of the people who use it use it for ADD instead of excelling at professional life and networking. Adderall has changed my life.

Failing that: Greek Yogurt, green tea, pickles, sauerkraut and low fat hotdogs (for a German lunch)

I usually go with a bag of beef jerky. Something that doesn't have a flavoring so it's low in sugar

What kind of oatmeal are we talking about? Packaged oatmeal? Switch it to steel cut oats, brah.
