If you like This American Life, I'd recommend Love + Radio. Edgier stories, some real, some not. Well produced.

Check red ice radio, pretty good stuff most of the time.
It is done by a guy from Sweden.

If you like funny, pop culture type topics "Unpopular Opinions" is good.
If you like esoteric, pop culture discussions "The Cracked Podcast" is good.
I also enjoyed "Stuff You Missed In History Class".
Anything television, I enjoy the different show-centric podcasts put out by the "Bald Move" guys.

I like My Brother, My brother, and Me.
Pretty funny brothers and they have people send in questions for advice and they search through yahoo answer and other forms like that and just give a lot of smart arse real world answer to stupid arse questions.

The Truth. Audio dramas. Tagline: Movies for your ears
The Moth: people tell true stories live on stage.
Risk: another storytelling podcast that tends to be more R rated. Don't listen if you are a churchlady and don't want to hear about kinky sex or gays. There is a lot of that.
WTF with Marc Maron: Not your typical interviews of comedians, actors, musicians, etc. He's done over 600. I'm listening to David Spade now, with Zach Galifianakis, Crispin Glover, Garret Morris, and Cindy Crawford in my queue.

If you like zombie stuff check out "We're Alive." It is like the walking dead but in radio show format, high quality production with a great story and actors.

This week's Last Podcast on the Left talks about the famous Houston serial killer "The Candy Man" Dean Corll. Turns out I live near where he killed and raped about 33 adolescent boys. Fun facts!
