What 5 things in history would you change if given the chance?

If you were somehow given special powers to effect a single event in the life of a day what 5 things would you change?
You cannot change a war unless you have the ability to do so from changing events that lead to war. You can change any event in a day's time, but not over the course of days months or years.

Would change rebeloke's mom's decision the day she debated having an abortion

Could be an unmitigated disaster for humanity. There was a power vacuum in Germany following WWI and someone was going to fill it. As bad as Hitler was, there was one good thing about him. That thing is that he was badshit crazy and totally sucked as a military strategist. I personally am glad there was a WWI. Without WWI there would be no WWII. With no WWII, my grandmother would have never met my grandfather and I would have never existed. And I'm pretty sure I'm far from the only one here who can say this.
