My son and I getting into welding. I was told to check out the weld.com YouTube channel and weld.com in general.
They look pretty solid to me.
Anybody have experience with weld.com and weld.com YouTube?

Judging just by the website name, I’d say it’s a pretty good place to start.

No experience. But will check out.
Years ago I bought a “ welding book for beginners or welding basics “ book from Lowe’s.
It as very well written and easy to use understand. I love it because it gave you all of your torch pressure settings and amperage settings to begin with. It also gives some plans on building accessories for your hobby. ( bottle racks, welding table, trailers ,etc.
I like stuff in book form because I can keep it on my workbench.
A quick search showed that Lowe’s and Harbor Freight has some manuals.
Y’all have fun.

There was a couple of youtubers i followed for a while when i was learning. Jody from welding tips and tricks knows his stuff as well as a kid named chuckie2009(?). The chuckie guys early videos are real educational and informative. His later stuff gets a lil political and i ended up not watching him anymore.

The only thing I can do is LH stick. Never had the opportunity to try the other stuff.
My torch skills need serious improvement.
