That's actually where we are staying, Fells Point.

For dinner, Cinghaile is great, but pricy.
The Black Olive is good, especially if you like fish.
Pierpoint is supposed to have good local fare, but I have never eaten there.

Little Italy is adjacent to Fells Point. Good food at a reasonable price. I'd recommend Amicci's, especially if you have a big appetite. La Tavola is good too. A little more upscale and pricier. Grab dessert at Vaccaro's.

Plenty of good bars in Fells Point. It's been a while, but I used to hang out at the Cat's Eye Pub. Max's is a great place for beer drinkers. The Horse You Came In On and Friends were also popular.

For breakfast, the Blue Moon Cafe or Miss Shirley's around the corner toward the harbor.

Baltimore's Aquarium is world class and you really should see it. But there isn't much else in the city.

For DC there's obviously plenty to see. I live here though so my personal favorites are not the tourist highlights. The Spy Museum is quite good, and I recommend the National Cathedral too. There are a couple of out of the way places I like also - the NSA (yes, that agency) has an in-house spy museum of their own that is open to the public, and the NRA out in Fairfax has an amazing firearms collection.
