I played Bluewater on 3 separate trips to Destin back in the 90's. I was a lot better back then and made it a habit when on a trip to ask about the course conditions, i.e. if any major maintenance like aerating/plugging or heavy sanding was going on. I was told each time "no" yet when I showed up it was in fact the case. Each time I expressed my disatisfaction and the response was basically "sorry". The last time I played there, as my Dad and I approached the first tee, the marshall drove up. We figured he was there to check receipts or names to match tee times. Nope! Only thing he did was tell us, "Guys, this is a nice course with nice properties surrounding. Don't piss on the course." That is what he told us.
We played about 13 holes before we finally gave up fighting the sand on the greens. It was literally about 1/4" thick, not exaggerating. I proceeded to the pro shop to voice my displeasure on the 2 issues. At least 3 other groups who were ready to pay, walked out. I left and have never, nor will ever go back to that course. If sinkholes develop beneath each green, I would be happy.

I got the d2 with the 60g rogue shaft. Would have liked something heavier or stiffer but when it's only $260 you can't complain that much

95 on Friday, 93 on Sat AM both at TCC on Covington. I just started walking with a new clicgear walking cart and it drained my energy but I am enjoying getting the exercise.
