Home Depot will probably take the Lowes coupon without reading the fine print. I presented a Lowes 10% of coupon at Home Depot and the check out girl laughed and handed it back saying you're at Home Depot not Lowes. I pointed to the sign above her register about 6 inches from her face that said "We will match any competitors coupon". If she hasn't read the sign starring her in the face for hours during her shift. She isn't reading fine print on a coupon.

Yes if you check slick deals you can find people who list sales, lots of people find them on clearance at Home Depot. However from my research it varies from store to store, more likely to find sales in colder states in the winter.

I saw some at walmart for cheap

Not sure if it's still this way, but when I bought mine 10 years ago the only place I could find them where they sell them with porcelain-enameled cast iron grates was the Home Depot. Everywhere else that sold a Weber were the thin aluminum or steel grates.

I lucked into a genesis at half off at Lowes`s. It was a floor model on sale off-season. I showed the manager that it had a dent in the back of the grill cover and he bumped it from 30% off to 50%.

Last night my buddy asked me if I could meet him at Home Depot to
bring his new grill home in my truck. He was buying a weber. The floor model had a small dent in it. He said can I buy this at a discount. The girl said I'm only authorized to give $50 off without gettin my manager, which was a little more than 10%. So he took it. Funny thing was it was missing the electric rotisserie motor so she went to get the other assembled grill from the back to replace the one he bought. He asked her about it and she said, I don't have a screwdriver to remove it, just take this grill. So he got the undented one for the dented price.
