I bought a Weber Spirit E-210 about 3 years ago and had it set up for NG. I have since moved and no longer have a natural gas hook up outside.

I contacted Weber customer service and they said they do not manufacture conversion kits due to customer safety.

I went by goodwood hardware and they acted like it would take an act of congress to convert.

Has anyone successfully converted from NG to Propane?

It seems like converting to NG would be the problem, not vice versa.

No, but I watched my neighbor attempt it. I remember he had to bore out a hold or two in the line for it to work.

Exactly what I thought.... Since propane is at a higher pressure than NG, I figured I would need just a special regulator and be done with it.

it's a $400 grill, sell it on craigslist and get a new one before you start fricking around with shite that can explode

Natural gas burners have larger holes. Order two new propane burners, a propane regulator, and swap out the parts.

You'll need new orfices for each burner and LP regulator/line.

Sweet. I'm ot rich.

There is no conversion. We bought ours in natural gas because of that.

Changing these out isn't dangerous, there are numerous companies that make conversion kits, just not sure if any will fit a Weber. The reason Weber doesn't make a kit is so you'll have to buy a new grill. $$$

Try a parts website like LINK. If your particular grill was made for both fuels (natural gas and propane), you may be able to cobble together the right parts for a retrofit.

Disclaimers:
- only do this if you know WTF you are doing
- if you blow yourself up, ain't my fault
- price of above parts may be more than it's worth to do
