Wearing pajamas to a hotel breakfast? Growing trend divides guests.

recently at a Memphis hotel I stayed at. There was a certain segment of the population that assumed it was perfectly acceptable to be dressed in their pajamas while eating breakfast in the common area. And apparently it is tolerated, because management did nothing to discourage it during our stay.

My take. You're not at home. And this isn't your kitchen. If you want to eat in your pajamas, order room service or use a delivery food service.
Get up and get dressed. You're in a public space.

I didn't even realize adults wore pajamas anymore.
Especially full onesies.

Honestly at least the onesies cover everything up
The nasty ones are the bare footed
And the dude without the shirt, well that’s just ridiculous

That certain segment is very diverse but goes by a common moniker--trash.

Yeah I think it’s more bizarre they have pajamas at all than whether they wore them downstairs for breakfast.

I sleep naked, so could I wear that to breakfast?
Posted on 5/5/18 at 7:09 am to Will Cover
I didn’t know motels offered breakfast

Just lump these slobs in with the idiots who take their shoes off on the plane and walk around.

Same people that go to Walmart in their pajamas. Those people dont have real jobs so they have no reason to change out of their pajamas

Embassy Suites offers a full, cook-to-order breakfast.
Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites offer more of a continental style breakfast, but both give you to option to make your own waffle.

I seen't it in Baton Rouge at the Drury last weekend with alot of people here for a big baseball/softball tournament at Traction.
They came down(and probably from other neighborhoods) by the dozens at 7am for that good free breakfast.

Unacceptable for anyone over the age of 6

We had some guy show up to court in his pajamas.

If your staying at hotels that serve free breakfast in "common areas" you need to reevaluate your life.

There is nothing wrong with staying at an Embassy Suites hotel.
Larger and separate rooms, free happy hour and cooked to order breakfast have been their staple for years. It wasn't until recently that certain people think it is acceptable to wear their night clothes to a public setting inside the hotel room.

I’ve seen people flying in their pajamas which is way worse. But it makes it easy to pick out the low class.

That's just effed up..."Son put on a shirt and God sake pull up your draws!" This is what trash looks like.
