The exact guys I was thinking of when I started this thread. Scary that certain segments of our population are acting so much like them.

This argument is so stupid.

Especially when used in this debate.

Pretty sure Indiana still holds that tid-bit of history.

Can you link that?

Only asking because there are links earlier about Stone Mountain being the place of re-birth of the klan.

This isn't about "traitors" and you know it as well as I do.

Stop being obtuse.

Nah, not really. Just because you want it to be so, does not make it so. It's quite analogous actually.

You have been a real dick this whole thread. You do realize someone can disagree with you without you resulting to insults, right?

And yes I see the irony in me calling you a dick but you are being one.

You tell me.

If it's all about "traitors", then why the push to remove statues of Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Sam Houston, etc.?

You really need to keep up with your talking points.

Looks like I was right and wrong. The KKK had three different periods of life.
It was first established in the 1860s to oppose the Repubs during reconstruction. It was then revived in 1915 (what I was originally thinking of) in the Midwest and West to oppose heavy influx of Catholic immigrants. Then the third and modern revival was in opposition to the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s.

Already addressed this before.

Those men were not traitors to This country.

Big difference.

And yet there is a push to remove their statues, nevertheless.

Damn. You ARE obtuse. As in the opposite of acute.

I never knew they formed it in Indiana because of the Catholics.

But yeah, Stone Mountain was viewed as a testament to the klan. At least, that was their intentions for it.

I mean, it makes sense. At the time folks in the Midwest were largely Protestant. They didn't have kind feeling for Catholics. So, when the boat loads of Catholic Irish and Germans came flooding in, they resented them.

The south was a different country at the time

Hence the need to be re-admitted

It's about a bunch of folks that want to group together to continue to make everyone feel sorry for them for something that actually didn't affect any of them. If this happens, well frick Democrats and frick all of you whiney bitches in favor of this current trendy event. That's really all this is, just the current bs trend of sjw and similar scum of our great nation. ISIS doesn't need to come here, we'll just destroy ourselves by letting ignorant people speak their minds and have a platform....thanks Mitch for allowing this current trendy to begin.

So you've been twice in a span of twenty years and specifically looked for black people? This is the problem right here. How about just trying to enjoy yourself and stop looking for shite to cry about. I live near Atlanta and have for 30 years now been to Stone Mountain multiple times a year every year. There are PLENTY of black people, Spanish people, Indians, Asians...etc. It's a great park, most of the employees are black also. Stop being so fuccking sensitive to shite that you probably know very little about.

Holy frickmyass. You're being a faqqet. I simply thought for 2 fricking seconds of the entire fricking day "wow, i bet black folks don't like this place very much." Then i scanned the crowd just before the laser show that night and noticed it was almost all white.

I had a damned good time both times.

You're being the sensitive little bitch here. I'll meet you at the top of the mountain for a suckoff if you want.

Oh you know I'm just a tard. I wasn't being sensitive though. Was just an observation, particularly the second visit. People getting Jimmies all Rustled over 'hurratage & histry' and pretending like black folks go to Stone Mountain on the reg.

Petty sure you are mistaken.

1915 second klan forms in stone mountain

1948 third clan forms at stone mountain.
