Do you do it by hand, automatic car wash, or a car wash where you wash it yourself?

I have a monthly pass at an automatic place. Easy enough, but it definitely leave swirl marks in my black paint.

If you have a nice vehicle always wash it by hand and NEVER run it through a car wash, ever.

Wash it in my driveway normally. But if I have a ton of bug splatter, the I go to the DIY carwash and hit it with the pressure washer.

Occasionally by hand, but usually an automatic place. It never seems to get as clean when I DIY.

Meh, If you can afford a nice vehicle, you can afford a porter cable to get out swirl marks.

I'd rather have to polish my vehicle once every six months than have to spend an hour washing it by hand anytime I want it clean.

Hand wash.

Spray wash in between to maintain.

Never an automatic car wash, especially one which uses brushes.

Always by hand (to completion? ).

This thread reminds me of the Owlvis switcheroo thread title game.

OP changes the Title to "In 20 Years, How Will You Jack-Off Hobos?"

Yeah it's a little sticker they put on your windshield and you just drive through the automated gates. I live right by the Benny's on Perkins so I get a car wash every few days. Well worth it
